Understanding The Characters & Breaking down Their Characteristics: Hollis:  The story is from Hollis's perspective he plays the protagonist and is an army boy. He goes through a wave of emotions which ends in the acceptance of his fate. Stone:  Good friend to Hollis out of the crew, the voice of reason.     Lespere : A bit of a player and self-praising, optimistic and has no fear of regrets or wishing he had done more with his life. Captain:  Showed as being powerless and ineffective in having any authority over his crew  Applegate:  Agitative towards the crew, negative.  Stimson:  Fearful and panicky Sketching in Illustrator basic outlines: Adding Colours & Shading: When designing my characters I made sure to make each of them look quite a bit different from another. Looking at different comic book styles & Tutorials: I've been looking at how other comic artist transition between scenes and how they make it flow and less confusing. I have come across some really interesting videos where they explain the importance of angles and when its necessary to add/remove panels.  (This is in no particular order, I compiled this as I went along so its clear what has influenced my final result.)
